See the Sea.

Blue /green sultry colours. Frothy white Waves and clear turquoise.

This piece of crochet reminds me of the spring /autumn seas near where we live. the moody Greens and darker blues fading into turquoise highlighted with waves of white. The yarn is Hayfield DK  Bonus breeze, the colour is mist.

Crochet Time Travel

40-year-old Crochet A lap-rug completed by my Nana over 40 years ago.   A version of the Granny square with smaller granny squares edging the large one.  Then an edge going around it all. Nana, one of my Crochet Teachers. Thought we would start at the beginning “A Very Good Place to Start.”

Splash Beret  I made this beret a year ago to match the most amazing scarf, I was given as a gift. It is made with King Cole Splash DK yarn. About the Journey

The colour of the Irish landscapes makes up my palette when I’m crocheting. the colours of the Sea, the Mountains, the Woodlands.

I found the 2 hours lessons flew by. It was very relaxing and I loved completing the small items that we were thought.  I think crocheting is a place to just be if you know what I mean. Thanks, Anne. Bernie
